Visit our booth at @whitexmasstreetfair today and bring home unique neon artworks handcrafted by local neon artist Jive Lau of @kowloneon! Curated by @the.picturesque.art, the “North Star” series of artworks bring mesmerising light to your home, symbolising love, hope, and inner peace, turning household into a space for reflection and revitalisation.
Neon signage was the most iconic element in the Hong Kong cityscape and was frequently featured in movies and animations. As the neon signage tradition fades, local artist Jive Lau is committed to transforming neon from a commercial application into vibrant works of art. Jive offers workshops at his studio and passes on neon knowledge and skills to apprentices from all over the world, and at the same time pushes creative boundaries and experiments with new techniques and substances, breathing new artistic life into neon.
