Yesterday our Chairman Dr. Joseph Chan was invited by an NGO to give a talk on impact investing. In recent years, NGOs actively explore ways to strengthen their financial sustainability and scale their impact. Dr. Chan shared the latest developments of impact investing in Asia, and introduced various instruments of impact investing to the audience.
Impact investing deals can be structured flexibly according to the target impact to be achieved, the needs of the stakeholders, the risk appetite and return expectations of the investors involved. At the core of all impact investing structures, impact measurement remains key. We look forward to more dialogues across investor communities and non-profit sectors, to fund new possibilities that will bring positive changes to the world.
