At its peak, the Sasanian Empire spanned from the eastern Mediterranean and Mesopotamia to parts of India and Central Asia πͺ. It was also the time when public works ποΈ and patronized cultural and educational institutions π« proliferated.
While the war-torn Iran today seems distant from us, Asian Art Historian Dr. Konstance Li π¨π»βπ will show us that the magnificent legacy of Sasanian Persia β¨ in fact permanently altered the trajectory of Eurasian art history, and has a huge influence on Chinese and Japanese art today π¨.
Join us on July 14 for an enriching and relaxing evening, with light refreshments and handmade macarons! πΉππ§
